PRI secures decisive victory in Coahuila legislative election

Preliminary results from the Coahuila state election show the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), running in alliance with the Democratic Unity of Coahuila (UDC) and the PAN, on track to win a clear majority in the 25‑seat local congress. With about 78% of the ballot boxes counted, the PRI‑UDC coalition holds roughly 55% of the vote, comfortably ahead of the Morena‑PT coalition, which is estimated at around 26%, and other parties.
