Priboj arrest: Macedonian national detained for suspected contract killing
Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs operatives arrested a North Macedonian citizen in Priboj on suspicion of entering the country as a hired assassin to carry out a contract killing.
Investigations suggest the suspect is linked to the Kavački clan and was previously associated with an attempted murder of Marko Ljubiša Kan from Budva. While the specific target of the planned liquidation in Priboj has not yet been identified, sources close to the investigation indicate that a significant sum of money was paid to the suspect in advance.
Police forces blocked the area in Priboj immediately following intelligence regarding the criminal's presence. Authorities are currently working to identify the intended victim and locate the units that provided logistical support to the suspect after they crossed the border. The suspect is being held for 48 hours before being brought before the prosecutor's office.
