Prijedor City Assembly to discuss land sales and industrial investments

The Prijedor City Assembly is set to consider several land-related proposals during its upcoming session on September 2. One key item involves the sale of 3,841 square meters of land in the Celpak industrial zone to the company Neomet montaža. The land is slated to be sold for 11,523 KM, which equates to three marks per square meter, despite an estimated value of 74.36 KM per square meter and a total parcel valuation of approximately 285,000 KM.

Neomet montaža, owned by Duško Grbić, plans to use the site to construct a 1,000-square-meter production and warehouse facility to expand its existing metal processing operations. The investment is expected to create approximately ten new jobs. The company currently employs 50 workers and reported a revenue of 5.54 million marks last year.

Additionally, the Assembly will discuss providing free land parcels to vulnerable groups, including families with four or more children, young married couples under 35, and single parents. The session will also address various regulatory changes, business reports for local utilities, and the transfer of property rights to several other firms.
