Prilep implements 18 infrastructure projects worth 12 million euros
The Mayor of Prilep, Dejan Prodanoski, has announced the implementation of 18 infrastructure and modernization projects in partnership with the government and relevant ministries. These projects represent an investment of approximately 12 million euros.
According to the progress report, six projects are already completed, five are in the final stages, and seven are in the initial phases of implementation. Key developments include a roundabout at the Tabana bridge valued at over 2 million euros, which aims to resolve major traffic bottlenecks through bridge expansion, new routes, and improved signaling.
Road and pedestrian infrastructure is also a priority, with 168 million denars allocated for local streets and roads over three years. Specific works include the reconstruction of the Kej 1-vi Maj sidewalk, the development of bicycle paths and lighting on 11-ti Oktomvri street, and road networks in the Metalec industrial zone. Additionally, the municipality is investing in water supply security, including the replacement of asbestos pipes and the renewal of 1,240 meters of water network in Karabdalica.
