Prima begins filming ‘Stvůry’ crime series in Bratislava

Prima has commenced filming for a new six-part crime series titled ‘Stvůry’ (Monsters) in Bratislava, Slovakia. The series is designed for the Prima+ streaming platform and serves as a follow-up to the dark crime film of the same name released last year.

Returning leads Kristýna Ryška and Kryštof Hádek will portray investigators Laura Linhartová and Adam Beneš. The production, directed by Jan Těšitel, is based on the detective trilogy by author Kristýna Trpková, specifically drawing from the novels ‘Stvůra’, ‘Vesnice’, and ‘Vetřelec’.

The series will consist of three distinct criminal cases, with each case spanning two episodes. The storylines include the investigation of a young girl's murder, the disappearance of a boy, and the cold-blooded killing of a married couple, all while developing the central personal arc of the lead characters.
