Primark to open first Saudi Arabian store in Riyadh in 2027

Primark has announced its entry into the Saudi Arabian market through a partnership with Alshaya Group. The retailer’s first store in the Kingdom is scheduled to open in March 2027 at The Avenues Mall in Riyadh.

The Riyadh location will be part of a major development project spanning 390,000 square meters. This expansion follows Primark’s recent successful launches in the United Arab Emirates, including stores at Dubai Mall, City Centre Mirdif, and Mall of the Emirates.

As part of a broader regional growth strategy, Primark is also slated to open stores in Bahrain at City Centre Bahrain on September 23, 2026, and in Qatar at Doha Festival City on October 29, 2026. This expansion will bring the retailer’s presence to five countries in the region and 22 countries globally.
