PrimatoP and Čistoća announce major infrastructure investments
PrimatoP d.o.o. Herceg Novi has announced an investment exceeding 300,000 euros to replace and modernize its wastewater treatment plant at its Spuž facility. The project, which will be entirely self-funded by the company, aims to implement a more efficient and safer system tailored to the specific technological wastewater produced by the meat industry. The contract has been signed with Eko-Vode Tim, and the new system is scheduled to be operational by December 1, 2026.
In Croatia, Igor Velimirović, the new director of the municipal company Čistoća in Rijeka, has outlined an ambitious reorganization plan to address what he described as “serious organizational and operational chaos.” Velimirović reported that upon taking office, he found that nearly 60 percent of the company's 180 vehicles were experiencing technical issues. To rectify these systemic problems, the company plans to invest up to nine million euros into renewing its vehicle fleet and implementing better resource management and operational tracking.
