Primavera do Leste announces new hospital project and social initiatives

The municipality of Primavera do Leste has announced several local initiatives and infrastructure developments. The city government presented a feasibility project for a new Municipal Hospital, which is planned as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) linked to the Unified Health System (SUS). The facility is expected to eventually reach a capacity of 409 beds through a gradual implementation process.

In social and health sectors, the city held the second ‘Movimento pela Valorização da Vida’ event, an athletic gathering involving approximately 280 participants to promote mental health awareness during Yellow September. Additionally, an employability fair was organized to facilitate job market access for people with disabilities, providing services such as digital work card guidance and direct job referrals.

Regarding urban infrastructure, a section of Avenida Cuiabá has been closed for 15 to 20 days to allow for the completion of a raised pedestrian crossing near Jonas Pinheiro Municipal School, aimed at improving road safety.
