Brazil municipalities launch various urban infrastructure projects

Several municipalities in Brazil are undertaking significant infrastructure and urban development projects.

In Campo Grande, the city has begun repaving Avenida Ernesto Geisel between Rua Bom Sucesso and Rua da Abolição. This project, part of a larger R$ 22.1 million contract, includes the installation of a bike path, signaling, and measures to control flooding and erosion near Córrego Anhanduí. The work is expected to be completed by December.

In Primavera do Leste, authorities have started a long-awaited revitalization of Avenida Florianópolis. This R$ 10.8 million project, funded by the state and municipality, involves applying high-quality asphalt to a 1,530-meter stretch. Additionally, the local Development Council (CODEPRIM) is meeting to discuss urban zoning, industrial district regulations, and the revision of the Municipal Master Plan.

In Rio do Sul, paving works are advancing in the Taboão neighborhood on Geremias Medeiros and Lauro Fronza streets. This R$ 2.6 million initiative is part of the 'Recupera Rio do Sul' program and is expected to require traffic diversions for at least one month.
