Primavera do Leste implements health, urban, and sports initiatives

The municipality of Primavera do Leste is implementing several local initiatives across public health, urban development, and sports.

In healthcare, the municipal health network has completed 327 Implanon contraceptive insertions. The city plans to train 36 professionals and expects to insert an additional 290 devices in the coming months using stock from the Ministry of Health. Access is prioritized for vulnerable populations, including residents aged 14 to 49.

Regarding urban development, the city has launched 'Plano Primavera' to revise its Master Plan. This initiative aims to manage rapid population growth, which rose from approximately 52,000 residents in 2010 to an estimated 99,000 by 2026. The plan addresses challenges in housing, mobility, sanitation, and infrastructure.

In the sports sector, the city hosted the 5th stage of the Regional Motocross Circuit, marking the return of the competition after a seven-year hiatus. The event was supported by municipal funds and a R$ 30,000 parliamentary amendment.
