Primavera do Leste: Public Ministry dismisses Health Council complaint

The Public Ministry has dismissed a complaint regarding the composition and operation of the Municipal Health Council in Primavera do Leste. The investigation followed allegations made by Councilman Sérgio Rodrigues Gonçalves, who questioned the impartiality of Council President Elias Frota Prado and requested his removal.

Upon reviewing the documentation, the Public Ministry found no evidence that the Council's composition violated municipal laws regarding proportionality among different segments. The investigation also clarified that Elias Frota Prado is a permanent municipal employee, serving as a physiotherapist since 2014, and holds his coordination role through a gratified function rather than a commissioned position.
