Primavera do Leste to host Court of Auditors inspection of health unit

The City Hall of Primavera do Leste, through its Municipal Health Secretariat, will host a technical team from the Court of Auditors (Tribunal de Contas) this coming Monday for an inspection of the Urgent Care Unit (UPA).

The visit is part of an ongoing effort to monitor public health policies. Technical staff will evaluate the unit’s organizational structure, care capacity, patient transfer processes, and hospital network flows. The municipal administration is also required to provide relevant documentation and reports regarding the services provided.

Mayor Sérgio Machnic stated that the visit is an opportunity to demonstrate the municipal health network's functioning and recent investments. He highlighted the ‘Vira Saúde’ program, which has expanded the availability of consultations, exams, and procedures to meet local healthcare demands.
