Egypt PM inspects Haya Karima projects and transit infrastructure

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly conducted inspections of various development and service projects in Kafr El-Sheikh and the Greater Cairo area. In Kafr El-Sheikh, Madbouly reviewed the progress of the second phase of the ‘Haya Karima’ presidential initiative. Key inspections included the expansion of the North Matoubes drinking water station, which serves over 130,000 citizens, and a family medicine center in Al-Jazira Al-Khadra village.

Madbouly also visited a technological center designed to provide integrated government services, such as building permits and civil registry tasks, in rural areas to reduce the need for travel to urban centers. Additionally, he inspected the dredging and deepening project of Burullus Lake, aimed at enhancing fish production and food security. The project, executed by the Arab Contractors, is approximately 99% complete.

In the Cairo and Giza regions, the Prime Minister inspected green mass transit projects, specifically the West Nile Monorail. This project, implemented by an Alstom–Arab Contractors alliance, is part of a broader national strategy to develop a sustainable, modern transportation network to reduce emissions and traffic congestion.
