Mohammad Mustafa meets EU representative to discuss Palestinian territories
Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa met with the new European Union representative, Andreas Fiedler, in Ramallah to discuss the current situation in the Palestinian territories. Mustafa briefed Fiedler on developments in the West Bank, including settler violence, restrictions on movement, and the withholding of tax revenues, as well as the ongoing conflict and humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
Mustafa emphasized the necessity of pursuing a two-state solution based on international resolutions and called for support in organizing upcoming Palestinian elections across the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem. Fiedler reaffirmed the European Union's commitment to the two-state solution and expressed support for efforts to ensure the holding of future Palestinian elections.
In a separate meeting, the Palestinian Central Election Commission discussed media cooperation with Novus and the Ard News platform. The discussions focused on enhancing voter awareness and ensuring the transparency and integrity of upcoming legislative elections through digital and traditional media strategies.
