Prime Minister orders unified training syllabus for all ministries

Prime Minister Tarek Rahman has directed that all ministry-led training programs be brought under a unified framework with a standardized syllabus. This directive aims to develop skilled human resources that meet the demands of both national and international labor markets.

Presiding over the third meeting of the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) governing body in Tejgaon, the Prime Minister noted that while various ministries currently conduct training, a lack of coordination prevents many certificates from gaining necessary recognition. He emphasized that implementing international-standard training and certification will increase the global acceptability of Bangladeshi youth.

The NSDA governing body has been instructed to form a small committee to formulate necessary policies quickly. Discussions during the meeting also covered administrative structures, manpower, sector-specific skill demand analysis, and the mutual recognition of various training certificates.
