Prime Minister Tareq Rahman visits Chittagong and Cox's Bazar

Prime Minister Tareq Rahman is conducting his first visit to Chittagong and Cox's Bazar since assuming office following the 13th national parliamentary elections. The day-long visit includes several key stops and official inspections.

In Cox's Bazar, the Prime Minister will visit Matarbari to inspect the deep sea port, coal power projects, and activities of the Matarbari Integrated Development Authority (MIDA). He is also scheduled to attend a program at West Banshkhali High School and College aimed at rehabilitating those affected by recent floods.

In Chittagong, the itinerary includes visiting the Al-Jamiyatul Islamia Azizul Ulum Babunagar Madrasa to meet with Allama Shah Muhibbullah Babunagari, as well as visiting the grave of the late Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi. The visit will conclude with an organizational meeting at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Chittagong before he returns to Dhaka.
