Prime Video and Netflix announce new series and documentary releases

Prime Video's new series, ‘Sterling Point’, has reached the TOP 10 on the platform. The eight-episode production follows Annie Jacobson, a teenager from New York who moves to a quiet Canadian community after inheriting an island from her late grandfather.

Netflix is also releasing new content between August 17 and 23, 2026. Notable upcoming titles include the documentary ‘Freefall: The Consequences of the Boeing Case’, which investigates safety failures and the Boeing 737 MAX accidents, and the fifth season of the adventure series ‘Outer Banks’, which follows the characters as they deal with loss and new threats.
