Prime Video announces Terrell Owens documentary 'Terrell & T.O

Prime Video has released the official trailer and announced a November 5, 2026, premiere date for 'Terrell & T.O.', a feature-length documentary chronicling the career of former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens. Produced by NFL Films and Skydance Sports, the film explores Owens' journey from an overlooked 1996 third-round draft pick to one of the most dominant and polarizing figures in professional football.

The documentary examines how Owens' physical dominance and theatrical flair transformed the wide receiver position and influenced football culture, specifically regarding the tension between individual expression and team conformity. It also addresses the media scrutiny and locker room conflicts that shaped his public image.

Interviews feature Owens himself, along with family, friends, and prominent figures including Jerry Rice, Steve Young, Jeff Garcia, Tony Romo, Jerry Jones, and Andy Reid. The film concludes by following Owens in the present day to observe his personal growth and evolution beyond his athletic legacy.
