Prime Video films Chilean crime series ‘La Señora’ in Santiago

Prime Video is filming its new original Chilean crime drama series, ‘La Señora’, in the Providencia district of Santiago. Produced by Fabula, the judicial suspense project stars Amparo Noguera as Catalina Rojas, a wealthy woman who becomes the primary suspect in an attempted mass murder targeting her own family.

The series is inspired by a notorious real-life criminal case in Chile but is presented as a fictional narrative exploring themes of vengeance and family tension. The cast also includes Carmen Gloria Bresky, Daniel Alcaíno, and Nicolás Brown. Directed by Constanza Novick and Maria Zanetti, the production aims for a worldwide release.

Filming in Providencia has necessitated local road closures and traffic restrictions, particularly on Huelén and La Ollería streets. Production teams have deployed fire brigades and water tankers to manage scheduled special effect fire scenes and sound sequences to ensure public safety during the shoot.
