Prime Video launches Octavia Spencer action‑comedy series ‘Co‑Conspirators’

Prime Video is releasing its original series “Co‑Conspirators” (Portuguese title “Parceiras No Crime”), an action‑comedy about two best friends who discover that one of them is an international hit‑woman. Octavia Spencer plays Debbie Claybourne and Hannah Waddingham portrays Judith Burton; after the revelation the duo flees across Europe, pursued by police, professional assassins and criminal syndicates.

The series, directed by Peyton Reed and executive‑produced by Spencer, the Muschietti siblings and others, includes a supporting cast featuring Ed Skrein, Calam Lynch, Savannah Steyn, Jamie Parker, Jacky Ido, Sylvia Hoeks and Bill Nighy. Eight episodes are set to drop globally on July 15, released simultaneously on Prime Video. Production partners include Paramount Television Studios, Amazon MGM Studios, Double Dream and Orit Entertainment.
