Prime Video releases ‘The Love Hypothesis’ starring Lili Reinhart

Prime Video has released the film adaptation of Ali Hazelwood’s bestselling novel, ‘The Love Hypothesis’. Starring Lili Reinhart as PhD student Olive Smith and Tom Bateman as Professor Adam Carlsen, the romantic comedy follows a fake dating arrangement between the two academics that evolves into real passion.

The story originated as a ‘Star Wars’ fanfiction before being adapted into the viral literary phenomenon that fueled the ‘BookTok’ community. While there is currently no direct sequel planned for this specific story, author Ali Hazelwood has expressed renewed interest in the characters, and Prime Video has commissioned another adaptation of her work, ‘Love, Theoretically’.

Lili Reinhart, who also served as an executive producer, has utilized the film's promotion to engage with fashion and wellness, marking a significant career step following her role in ‘Riverdale’. The film has already seen success on the platform, reaching top viewership rankings in regions such as Portugal.
