Prime Video launches teen drama “Sterling Point”

Prime Video released the eight‑episode teen drama Sterling Point on 5 August 2026. The series follows 17‑year‑old Annie Jacobson (played by Ella Rubin), a New York teenager who inherits her late grandfather’s island in Canada’s Muskoka Lakes region. While exploring the cottage, Annie uncovers family secrets, discovers a sister, and navigates new friendships and romances.

Created and co‑show‑run by Megan Park, the show emphasizes authentic queer representation and features a cast that includes Keen Ruffalo, Amélie Hoeferle, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jay Duplass and Missi Pyle. Critics have praised its warm tone and realistic teen drama, giving it a 92‑94 % rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Filming took place in the Muskoka Lakes area north of Toronto, and the soundtrack features Lennon and Maisy Stella.
