Prime Video releases teaser for ‘Drawn Apart’ sequel

Prime Video has released a teaser for ‘Drawn Apart’, the sequel to the successful film ‘Drawn Together’. The production, directed by Óscar Pedraza, has completed filming, though an official release date has not yet been announced. Author Mercedes Ron has indicated a potential release in 2027.

Picking up immediately after the cliffhanger of the first film, the sequel is described as darker and more action-oriented. The plot follows Marfil, played by Ester Expósito, who has been kidnapped by gangster Marcus Kozel. Sebastián, played by Hugo Diego García, is revealed to be an undercover FBI agent attempting to rescue her. While the romance between the two characters remains a central element, the narrative will shift focus toward the high-stakes danger of the situation.

The film is an adaptation of Mercedes Ron’s ‘Enfrentados’ duology, following the success of the first installment which topped Prime Video film charts shortly after its release.
