Prime Video releases trailer for ‘Enfrentados: Marfil’

Prime Video has released the official trailer for ‘Enfrentados: Marfil’, a romantic thriller scheduled for release on September 9 across more than 240 countries and territories. The film is an adaptation of the bestselling novel by Mercedes Ron and serves as the first installment in a new duology.

Starring Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García, the story follows Marfil Cortés, the daughter of a powerful businessman, whose life is upended following a mysterious kidnapping. To ensure her safety, her father hires an enigmatic bodyguard, Sebastián Moore. The plot centers on the tension and growing attraction between the two characters as they navigate threats and secrets upon returning to Spain.

The film is directed by Óscar Pedraza and written by Sofía Cuenca, with production handled by Pokeepsie Films under the executive supervision of Álex de la Iglesia and Carolina Bang. A sequel, ‘Enfrentados: Ébano’, has already been approved.
