Prime Video Removes Neon Genesis Evangelion Films

Prime Video announced that four films from the Rebuild of Evangelion series will be taken down this month. The titles affected are Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance, Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, and Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time. The removal is due to the expiration of the streaming licenses, and no renewal has been confirmed.

The franchise is also preparing a new anime project to mark its 30th anniversary, with Studio Khara collaborating with CloverWorks on the upcoming series. Fans will need to wait for a license renewal or a new platform to stream the films legally.
