Prime Video renews 'Neagley' spin-off for Season 2

Prime Video has officially renewed the 'Reacher' spin-off series 'Neagley' for a second season following a highly successful debut. The series, starring Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, reached 40 million viewers worldwide within its first 13 days of availability, making it the fourth-largest original series debut in the platform's history.

In the United States, 'Neagley' achieved significant streaming success, briefly surpassing the parent series 'Reacher' in viewership. Nielsen reported that the spin-off recorded 1.78 billion minutes watched during the week of September 14-20, outperforming 'Reacher' and Netflix's 'Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story'.

The renewal comes as part of a broader expansion of the 'Reacher' franchise. While 'Neagley' moves toward a second season, the main 'Reacher' series has also been renewed for a sixth season, with a fifth season currently in production. Peter Friedlander, Head of Global Television for Amazon MGM Studios, noted that international audiences have embraced the character, with over 52 percent of 'Neagley's' viewership coming from outside the United States, including strong markets in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Brazil.
