Prime Video renews Reacher for season 6 amid high viewership
Prime Video has officially renewed the action series ‘Reacher’ for a sixth season. This announcement comes while production for the fifth season is still underway in Toronto, Canada.
The decision follows significant viewership success for the fourth season, which attracted 66 million viewers globally within its first 28 days of release. Since its debut in 2022, the series has reached over 200 million viewers worldwide. Peter Friedlander, head of Global Television at Amazon MGM Studios, praised the series and lead actor Alan Ritchson, stating that the show ‘hits hard’ and is ‘simply incredible.’
Season five is set to adapt Lee Child’s twentieth novel, ‘Make Me.’ While the sixth season has been greenlit, details regarding its specific plot, cast, or release window have not yet been disclosed. The franchise continues to expand, including the recent premiere of the spinoff series ‘Neagley.’
