Prime Video reveals teaser for Barbershop comedy series

Prime Video has released a first-look teaser trailer for its new comedy series, Barbershop, which serves as an update to the classic film franchise. The series stars Jermaine Fowler as Travis “Trav” Walker, a young man returning to Chicago to honor his grandfather’s legacy by working at the iconic Calvin’s barbershop.

As the story unfolds, Trav must navigate a changing city and a new crew of barbers while maintaining the shop’s tradition as a community hub for lively debate and social gathering. The series is created and showrun by Marshall Todd and Max Searle.

The ensemble cast includes Brett Gray, Punkie Johnson, Roy Wood Jr., E. J. Bonilla, Bresha Webb, Bokeem Woodbine, Tiana Okoye, and Langston Kerman. The series is scheduled to premiere on February 10.
