Prime Video sets October 2 release for Mexican series Prefiero la muerte

Prime Video has announced the global release date for ‘Prefiero la muerte’, a new Mexican comedy-horror and coming-of-age series. The production is scheduled to premiere on October 2 across more than 240 countries and territories.

Created and directed by Sebastián Sariñana, the series follows Archie, a high school underdog whose life changes after being bitten by a zombie. Alongside his goth best friend Cris and his crush Brenda, Archie attempts to investigate a threat that could trigger a zombie apocalypse in the small town of Mendoza. They are aided by Detective Sara Díaz, played by Fernanda Castillo.

The series features a cast including Diego Bernal, Lilith Curiel, Farah Justiniani, Luis Fernando Peña, and Sherlyn. It is a production of Amazon MGM Studios, Tigre Pictures, and Pez Caja.
