Prime Video streaming trends show Reacher dominance and Masters of the Universe decline

Prime Video's global Top 10 rankings for the week ending August 30 show a dominance of action and thriller titles. The series ‘Reacher’ remains the most-watched Prime Original worldwide, while the film ‘Masters of the Universe’ topped the film charts.

However, Nielsen data indicates a significant decline for ‘Masters of the Universe’ following its initial peak. After topping all streaming platforms the previous week, the film fell out of Nielsen’s overall Top 10, recording approximately 588 million minutes of viewership—a roughly 50% decrease from its debut week.

In the non-English categories, Indian productions continue to show strong performance, with ‘The Traitors (India)’ leading the non-English series chart. Other notable international entries include the Brazilian film ‘Beast Race’ and various Spanish and German titles.
