Prime Video to debut 'Barreda' drama on Argentine dentist murders on Aug 28

Prime Video released the first trailer for "Barreda," a new Prime Original drama that dramatizes the 1992 quadruple homicide committed by Argentine dentist Ricardo Barreda in La Plata. The film retells the case in which Barreda killed his wife, mother‑in‑law and two daughters, later convicted of life imprisonment.

The production stars Luis Machín as Barreda and includes Carla Peterson, Mercedes Morán and other Argentine actors. Directed by Daniela Goggi, it is a co‑production of About Entertainment, Infinity Hill and Amazon MGM Studios and will premiere worldwide on Prime Video on 28 August.
