Prime Video to debut modern Carrie series this fall

Prime Video will launch a modern eight‑episode adaptation of Stephen King’s debut novel Carrie on its streaming platform in the autumn. Veteran horror creator Mike Flanagan serves as showrunner and directs four episodes. The series follows high‑school outcast Carrie White as she navigates viral bullying, social‑media pressure and the emergence of telekinetic powers, with an eight‑episode season planned.

First‑look images have been released and a trailer is expected soon. The cast includes Matthew Lillard, Samantha Sloyan as Carrie’s protective mother Margaret, and other notable stars.
