Prime Video has announced that its upcoming Hindi Original period drama, ‘The Revolutionaries’, is scheduled to premiere worldwide on September 11, 2026. Created and directed by Nikkhil Advani, the series is inspired by true events and is based on Sanjeev Sanyal’s bestselling book, ‘Revolutionaries: The Other Story Of How India Won Its Freedom’.

The series focuses on the lives of four lesser-known figures in India’s struggle for independence: Rash Behari Bose, Sachindra Nath Sanyal, Pratibha Lahiri, and Bagha Jatin. The narrative explores their efforts to organize armed resistance against the British Empire, highlighting themes of sacrifice, friendship, and rebellion.

The lead cast features Bhuvan Bam as Rash Behari Bose, Rohit Saraf as Sachindra Nath Sanyal, Pratibha Ranta as Pratibha Lahiri, and Gurfateh Pirzada as Bagha Jatin. Other key cast members include Jason Shah, Paoli Dam, and Tota Roy Chowdhury. Produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani under Emmay Entertainment, the series will be available in Hindi and dubbed into several regional languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Bengali.
