Prime Video releases trailer for ‘The Love Hypothesis’ film adaptation

Prime Video has released a trailer for its upcoming film adaptation of Ali Hazelwood’s bestselling novel, ‘The Love Hypothesis’. The romantic comedy is scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform on September 23.

Set in the academic world, the story follows Olive Smith (played by Lili Reinhart), a Ph.D. candidate who enters into a fake dating arrangement with a surly biology professor, Dr. Adam Carlsen (played by Tom Bateman). The arrangement begins after Olive impulsively kisses Adam to prove to her friend that she has moved on from a previous crush. The plot explores how the two characters navigate their pretend relationship while real feelings begin to emerge.

The film is directed by Claire Scanlon and features a cast including Lili Reinhart, Tom Bateman, Rachel Marsh, and Nicholas Duvernay.
