Prime Video unveils trailer for ‘Waiting Hai’ scam dramedy

The trailer for the upcoming Prime Video scam dramedy ‘Waiting Hai’ has been released. Set in Patna, the series follows Sugam Mishra, a railway constable played by Divyenndu, as he attempts to navigate the challenges of his new job and personal life.

The plot centers on a sophisticated railway ticket booking scam. Sugam discovers that tickets are being confirmed almost instantly upon the opening of the booking window, leading him into a cat-and-mouse chase with Afroz Hamsa, a tech expert played by Bhuvan Arora, who has found a way to bypass the booking system. What begins as a localized scheme evolves into a much larger racket.

Director Sameer Vidwans and Prime Video India's Amogh Dusad described the series as a story rooted in everyday life that uses the familiar struggle of securing railway tickets to build a narrative filled with humor, tension, and intrigue.
