Primera Federación prepares for new season with new app launch

The new season of the Primera Federación, Spain's third football division, is set to begin this weekend. To coincide with the start of the 2026-2027 season, the streaming service FootballClub has launched a new dedicated application for its subscribers. Replacing the previous FC Play app, the new platform is available on Android and iOS devices, featuring a redesigned interface for easier navigation of match calendars, results, and various competitions.

In addition to technological updates, the upcoming season features significant player movements, particularly involving talent from the Almería province. Several players, coaches, and executives from the region are participating across both groups of the division. Notable movements include Luis Alcalde joining Unionistas de Salamanca and Jota López moving to Mérida AD. Other players such as Luca Lohr, Cristian David, and Javi Moreno are also set to compete in the category this season.
