Primo Capital launches biotech venture capital fund in Lazio

Primo Capital has launched Primo Biotech Lazio, a new venture capital fund specifically dedicated to the biotechnology sector. The fund aims to bridge the gap between scientific research and market implementation by providing the necessary capital and expertise to transform laboratory ideas into viable businesses.

Supported by Lazio Innova and Fondazione ENPAM, the initiative seeks to leverage the robust life sciences ecosystem in the Lazio region, which includes universities, research centers, clinical facilities, and pharmaceutical industries. The fund is part of the LAZIO Venture 2 program, a fund-of-funds for the Lazio region co-financed by the PR FESR 2021-2027.
