Prince Andrew faces investigation as whistleblower contacts FBI

A former royal protection officer, Paul Page, has claimed that UK police ignored a dossier of evidence regarding Prince Andrew. Page has since shared information with the FBI and US Representative Thomas Massie, alleging that between 1997 and 2004, security rules were relaxed to allow the former Duke to bring multiple women into Buckingham Palace. He further alleged that young women, including Ghislaine Maxwell, were permitted to visit the palace without being recorded in official logbooks.

Thames Valley Police is currently investigating Prince Andrew following his arrest in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office. The investigation has been widened to include claims of sexual misconduct, and authorities have appealed for witnesses to come forward. Page has filed a formal complaint against a senior officer regarding improper communication, following a letter from the head of royalty protection reminding him of his confidentiality obligations.

In a separate account, former Buckingham Palace press secretary Dickie Arbiter recalled a past confrontation with Prince Andrew. Arbiter described a tense exchange during a garden party where he refused a demand from the ex-royal regarding a photograph involving the Queen and clergy, an incident that reportedly resulted in the ex-prince slamming a telephone down.
