King Charles snubs Prince Andrew at Sandringham amid fresh police investigation

King Charles spent the recent bank holiday at Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate, a short walk from Marsh Farm where his brother Prince Andrew now lives after being evicted from the Royal Lodge. The monarch did not meet Andrew, a move widely interpreted as a deliberate snub.

The distancing follows new police scrutiny of Andrew for alleged sexual misconduct, corruption and fraud tied to his former role as a trade envoy, as well as historic accusations linked to the Jeffrey Epstein case. Andrew was arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office and continues to deny wrongdoing. Earlier, Charles stripped him of his royal titles and ordered his relocation.

Police investigations also include a claim that a woman was sent by Epstein to the Royal Lodge for sexual encounters in 2010. King Charles said the investigation caused “deep concern” and emphasized that “the law must take its course.”
