Prince Andrew takes private‑jet holiday in France amid exile controversy

Prince Andrew, the former Duke of York, flew from Norwich International Airport to Dinard Airport in Brittany by private jet for a three‑day stay at a rural farm near St Malo from 30 May to 1 June. The weekend was reportedly hosted by Arab billionaire Mohammed A. Baker and included a private chef, fine wine and beach‑side horse riding. Andrew travelled with a single bodyguard and was seen riding with a local race‑horse trainer.

He returned to the UK on 1 June and was photographed on 4 June with a large bruise on his face that later healed. The prince lives in exile at Marsh Farm on the Sandringham Estate after being stripped of his titles, banned from royal events and subject to a police investigation into alleged misconduct in public office and possible sexual offences dating back to his time as a trade envoy.
