Prince Arthur restaurant relocating from Belgravia to Chelsea
The Prince Arthur, previously located in Belgravia, is relocating to a new two-story site at 96 Draycott Avenue in Chelsea. Scheduled to open at the end of September, the new venue will transition from a pub concept to a dedicated restaurant and bar.
The ground floor will house a restaurant seating up to 79 guests, featuring floor-to-ceiling arched windows and a bespoke central fire designed to mirror the kitchen’s wood-fired grill. The establishment will also offer al-fresco dining with 16 outdoor seats. The upper floor will feature the Chelsea Music Bar, a late-night cocktail lounge and listening bar inspired by Tokyo’s intimate music bars.
Head Chef Adam Iglesias, who previously led the Belgravia location to two years of Michelin Guide recognition, will return to oversee the kitchen. The menu will continue to utilize Basque techniques and live-fire cooking, focusing on seasonal ingredients and high-quality seafood served from a dedicated counter. The venue also plans to incorporate in-house caviar production and dry-aging for meat and fish.
