Prince Gabriel graduates from Royal Military Academy

Prince Gabriel of Belgium has graduated from the Royal Military Academy, completing a four-year program. He earned a master’s degree in social and military sciences, making him the first Belgian prince to complete the full curriculum.

Following his graduation, the Prince will continue his military career within the Belgian Defense Forces. His upcoming training includes professional instruction as a section leader at the Infantry School in Arlon. Additionally, he is scheduled to undergo paratrooper training in Marche-les-Dames and Schaffen.

The Prince’s ability to pursue this career follows a May decision by the Federal Council of Ministers, which approved legislation allowing members of the royal family who do not receive a pension to enlist in the military.
