Prince George RCMP arrest youth for pub break-ins
The Prince George RCMP have arrested a youth in connection with a series of break-and-enter investigations at a pub located in the 200-block of Cherry Avenue. The incidents began on October 6, when an alarm was triggered after a door was forced open.
A second break-in attempt was reported on October 8. On October 15, officers patrolling the area observed exterior lights activating and discovered three youths behind the business. While two individuals fled the scene, the third was detained. Following a review of CCTV footage from previous incidents, investigators identified the detained youth as a likely suspect in the break-ins.
The youth was taken to the Prince George RCMP detachment and later released to a guardian. He is scheduled to appear in court at a future date. Authorities are currently seeking information to identify the two youths who fled the scene on October 15.
