Prince Harry advocates for veteran workforce reintegration in Washington

Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, participated in a roundtable discussion in Washington, D.C., focused on supporting veterans and service members. The event, organized by the nonprofit The Independence Fund, brought together veterans, defense officials, military spouses, and nonprofit leaders.

During the discussion, the Duke emphasized the importance of communities better utilizing the professional skills of service members as they transition back into the workforce. He highlighted their expertise in communication, moral leadership, and performing under high-stress environments. Harry indicated he may soon launch a commercial solution designed to value the expertise of those who served.

The Duke’s advocacy continues to focus on veteran services and mental health, themes central to his and Meghan Markle’s Archewell Foundation. His work in this sector includes founding the Invictus Games in 2014 and visiting wounded military personnel globally.
