Prince Harry and Elton John ordered to pay $13M in legal fees

Prince Harry, Sir Elton John, and five other high-profile plaintiffs have been ordered by the High Court of London to pay approximately £9.54 million (roughly $13 million) in legal costs to Associated Newspapers Limited.

The ruling follows a failed privacy lawsuit against the publisher of the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday. The plaintiffs had alleged that the media group used illegal methods, such as phone interception and unauthorized surveillance, to obtain private information. However, Judge Matthew Nicklin dismissed the claims, stating that the evidence provided was insufficient to substantiate the allegations.
