Prince Harry and Meghan offered stay at a royal residence for UK visit
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been offered accommodation at a royal residence for their upcoming visit to the United Kingdom next month, which will include their children, seven‑year‑old Archie and five‑year‑old Lilibet. The invitation has not yet been accepted.
The visit, the first by the couple to Britain in four years, will feature a series of events leading up to the Invictus Games in July 2025. Previously, Harry declined to stay at Buckingham Palace for security reasons. King Charles last saw his grandchildren at Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee in 2022. Security arrangements are the responsibility of the Home Office, and no additional royal protection has been planned.
The couple previously met with the king at Clarendon House in September, their first encounter since February 2024.
