Prince Harry and Meghan vacation on Scottish island owned by hedge‑fund billionaire
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent part of their recent family holiday on Tanera Mor, a remote Scottish island in the Summer Isles owned by hedge‑fund co‑founder Ian Wace. The island, purchased for £1.7 million in 2017, has been transformed with new roads, trees and restored buildings, and hosts charitable guests through the Taigh Mor Foundation, which supports armed‑forces and emergency‑service personnel. The royal couple were accompanied by their children, Prince Archie (7) and Princess Lilibet (5), during the stay.
The visit follows earlier trips to Portugal and the Spencer family’s Althorp estate, and comes as the Duke has previously described Balmoral as “simply paradise.”
