Prince Harry discusses lasting impact of Princess Diana's death

In a recent interview with GQ, Prince Harry reflected on the enduring impact of his mother Princess Diana's death. Nearly 30 years after her passing in 1997, the Duke of Sussex shared that he still feels a strong connection to her and occasionally senses her energy during certain periods of his life.

Prince Harry expressed significant remorse regarding the final telephone conversation he had with his mother. At the time, he was 12 years old and had sought to end the call quickly to play with his cousins. He noted that if he had known it would be their last conversation, it would have been handled very differently.

He also touched upon the challenges of grieving under intense public scrutiny alongside his brother, Prince William. Harry mentioned that becoming a father helped him process the loss, and he now aims to use his experiences to help others navigate grief through his work, including a MasterClass on the subject.
