Prince Harry skips Buckingham Palace stay as Carole Middleton completes Three Peaks hike

Prince Harry visited London in early July 2026 but did not stay at Buckingham Palace, opting for alternative accommodation during his trip.

Carole Middleton, 71, joined Princess Kate’s Three Peaks mountain challenge, climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon to raise money for the Royal Marsden hospital. She was noted for her stylish outdoor attire, including a Fjällräven jacket and a Baker Boy cap. The challenge was also supported by Prince William and the royal children.
