Prince Harry to observe Remembrance Sunday privately
Prince Harry reportedly intends to observe Remembrance Sunday privately rather than participating in the official national commemorations alongside the Royal Family. A source close to the Duke of Sussex stated that he has “no desire to create drama or do anything that could distract from his family’s role in the national commemorations” at the Cenotaph in London.
Having served in the British military for ten years between 2005 and 2015, the Duke views the occasion as a deeply personal matter. He is expected to mark the day in a manner similar to other veterans, likely through private services at a local church or war memorial. His last appearance at the official national Remembrance Sunday ceremonies was in November 2019.
